In this week’s episode, a couple revitalises their longtime home, blending nostalgia with a fresh aesthetic. The residence, which holds cherished memories of their children and pet, is designed to remain dynamic, allowing for changes in layout and artwork.
The home benefits from ample natural light and expansive views of the sea and city. The interiors embrace a bohemian philosophy, incorporating collected artworks, sculptures, and furniture that resonate with the owners.

Key renovations include a vibrant bathroom with jewel-toned tiles and a custom basin, a redesigned living room with a reworked display unit that enhances artwork visibility, and a study that maximises sea views while integrating a floating bookshelf.

The dining area features a reclaimed wood table by a Singaporean artisan, adorned with brass trimmings and an engraving of their late dog.

The kitchen underwent a complete transformation, incorporating an island, extended counter space, and vintage stained glass panels sourced from Europe, influencing the colour scheme. The flooring was updated with Peranakan-inspired tiles, replacing the originally intended backsplash.

These strategic updates retain the home’s emotional essence while ensuring functionality and adaptability for the future.
